Hey there, loves! Gluten Free With Emily here, and I'm excited to share some of my favorite gluten-free dinner party ideas with you all. I know that having dietary restrictions can sometimes make it difficult to enjoy a meal with friends, but with a little creativity and planning, a gluten-free dinner party can be just as delicious and fun as any other gathering. So, let's get started!
First up, let's talk about appetizers. One of my go-to gluten-free options is a charcuterie board. This is perfect for a dinner party because it's easy to prepare and can be customized to fit everyone's tastes. Start with a variety of gluten-free crackers (I love Hu' brand) and add some gluten-free pretzels like Quinn. Then, add some cheese (just make sure it's dairy-free) Miyokos brand is my go to. Next add some fruits and veggies like grapes, berries, sliced cucumbers, and olives. And don't forget the dips! A gluten-free hummus or guacamole is always a crowd pleaser. For the main course, I love to make vegan enchiladas. You can fill them with a variety of veggies like roasted sweet potatoes, zucchini, kale, and seasoned green jackfruit is a must! Top them off with a homemade enchilada sauce made with tomatoes, chili powder, cumin, and garlic. For some extra protein, you could also add in some black beans. Serve with a side of dairy free sour cream for topping. Another great option for the main course is a gluten-free pizza party! You can make your own gluten-free pizza crust or buy a pre-made crust. Then, set out a variety of gluten-free toppings like fresh basil, pineapple, mushrooms, and peppers. Let your guests make their own pizzas and then bake them in the oven. I also top mine off with my homemade Meatless Meatballs. It's a fun and interactive way to enjoy dinner with friends. And of course, no dinner party is complete without dessert! One of my favorite gluten-free desserts is my chocolate ganache brownies which are rich, decadent, and vegan. So there you have it, loves! Some of my favorite gluten-free dinner party ideas. With a little creativity and planning, you can host a delicious and memorable meal that everyone will enjoy. Happy hosting! xoxo Emily

Happy shopping! xoxo Emily I'm here to talk about something that's close to my heart: having fun while following a gluten-free diet! Just because you have to avoid gluten doesn't mean you can't enjoy delicious food and have a great time with your friends and family. So, let's get started! First things first, let's talk about cooking. Cooking can be such a fun and relaxing activity, and it's a great way to ensure that you're eating delicious gluten-free meals. There are so many amazing gluten-free recipes out there, from gluten-free pizzas to gluten-free pastas, and even gluten-free desserts like brownies and cakes. Try out some new recipes with your loved ones and have fun experimenting in the kitchen. I love hosting dinner parties, that way I know I can eat everything, and my friends love when I cook for them! Now, let's talk about eating out. Eating out can be a bit more challenging when you're gluten-free, but it doesn't have to be boring! Look for restaurants that offer gluten-free menus, and don't be afraid to ask your server or chef for recommendations. And if you're going to a restaurant that doesn't have a gluten-free menu, try to do some research beforehand to see if there are any safe options on the regular menu. Speaking of cocktails, let's talk about drinks. I don't drink personally but I want to give you ALL the info you need...Believe it or not, not all alcohol is gluten-free! But don't worry, there are still plenty of options for you. Stick to clear liquors like vodka, gin, and tequila, and avoid beer and most types of whiskey. And if you're not sure if a particular drink is gluten-free, don't be afraid to ask your bartender or server. Finally, let's talk about snacks. Snacking can be a great way to satisfy your cravings and keep you fueled throughout the day. There are so many delicious gluten-free snack options out there, from popcorn to chips to fresh fruit. And if you're looking for something sweet, there are plenty of gluten-free dessert options as well, like gluten-free cookies and gluten free pie. So there you have it, guys! Following a gluten-free diet doesn't have to be a drag. With a little bit of planning and some creativity, you can have just as much fun as anyone else. Remember to always be confident in your dietary needs, and never let gluten hold you back from having a good time. Until next time! If you don't already know, celiac disease is a serious autoimmune disorder that affects the small intestine. It's triggered by the consumption of gluten, which is found in wheat, barley, and rye. And let me tell you, it can be a real pain in the butt.
Now, I know what you're thinking - "Emily, Nashville is the land of hot chicken and biscuits. How can you survive with celiac disease?" But let me tell you, my fellow gluten-free friends, There is some light at the end of tunnel with a few awesome places to shop for gluten free foods or just have a nice meal! First off, let's talk about the basics. Celiac disease is an autoimmune disorder that causes damage to the small intestine when gluten is consumed. Gluten is a protein found in wheat, barley, and rye, which means that it's in a lot of the foods we love - pizza, pasta, bread, you name it. But don't worry, Nashville has plenty of options for those of us who can't eat gluten. If you're living with celiac disease in Nashville, there are plenty of resources available to help you navigate your gluten-free lifestyle. Here are some tips and recommendations to help you thrive in Music City. First things first, let's talk about dining out. Nashville has a great food scene, but it can be challenging to find safe, gluten-free options at restaurants. Fortunately, there are several restaurants in the city that offer gluten-free menus or options, such as Blue Sushi Sake Grill and Thai Esane. Many other restaurants are also willing to accommodate dietary restrictions if you ask your server or chef. One of my favorite places to go is Avo, a vegan and gluten-free restaurant that serves up some seriously delicious food. Their dairy free cheesecakes are to die for, and their Lions Mane "Crab" cakes are so flavorful. Plus, their desserts are out of this world. You have to try their chocolate pie - it's gluten-free and vegan, but you'd never know it. Additionally, there are several places that offer delicious gluten-free treats and dairy free ice cream like KOKOS Ice Cream Scoop Shop. When it comes to grocery shopping, there are several options for gluten-free products in Nashville. Most major grocery stores carry a variety of gluten-free items, and there are also specialty stores like The Turnip Truck and The Produce Place that offer a wider selection of gluten-free products, as well as multiple Whole Foods locations throughout the city. As well as fresh farmer's markets in the late spring to early fall. Another great resource for those with celiac disease in Nashville is the Nashville Celiac Support Group. This group provides education, resources, and support to those living with celiac disease, and they regularly host events and meetings for members. They also have a helpful website with information about local restaurants and grocery stores that offer gluten-free options. Finally, it's important to remember that living with celiac disease can be challenging, but it's also possible to thrive. And remember, Nashville is a city full of amazing food, music, and culture - don't let your dietary restrictions hold you back from experiencing it. If you're following a gluten-free and vegan lifestyle, you know that it can be challenging to find delicious and satisfying meals that fit within your dietary restrictions. But fear not, as there are plenty of tasty options available that will leave you feeling satisfied and energized. In this blog post, we'll share some delicious gluten-free and vegan recipes that are easy to make and packed with flavor.
